This blog post features my first-ever purchases of Moress Charms!
The Moress Charms brand is based in Thailand. The name ‘Moress’ means ‘Peacock’ in Thai, and symbolises beauty, elegance, prosperity, strength and love. In Thai folklore, peacocks can turn any poison into their vibrant plumage! The Moress Charms range includes beads, charms and jewellery made from silver, glass, enamel, stone and other materials, and the range is available from the Moress Charms website (which ships worldwide from Thailand).
A couple of weeks ago, I took advantage of a sale on the
Moress Charms website and purchased the three little ice cream charms that I’d long been eyeing off! The charms are sterling silver, with coloured enamel ice cream scoops in green (Mint Ice Cream Bead), yellow (Vanilla Ice Cream Bead) and pink (Strawberry Ice Cream Bead), and I love the decorative black and silver pattern on their cones!
My new ice cream charms work really well with beads my existing charm collection! I have been using them in cute, sweet and colourful arrangements this week. They also match my
Novobeads Ice Cream Cone nicely - just as I was hoping they would! Below are some of the sweet arrangements I have come up with so far!

In addition to my ice creams, I also bought an absolutely amazing silver-cored Crab Glass Bead from
Moress Charms. It was not on sale - but the cute little crabby was just so incredibly adorable, I just couldn’t resist him! (Also, this bead is part of Moress Charms’
Our Ocean Collection - from which 10% of all sales are donated to Thai Whales and the Pure Blue Foundation - so I can tell myself that I was helping charity!)

The Crab Glass Bead is truly stunning! I opened the box and saw it for the first time in real-life and my heart skipped a beat - it really is just too beautiful!
It’s a bigger bead than most of my others, and is decorated and textured with a dual-coloured ocean, glittering gold sparkles, and colourful little anemones! Pictures just don’t do this bead justice - it is absolutely exquisite! It is almost too beautiful to wear around the house!

One downside to the Crab Glass Bead’s larger size is that it doesn’t fit onto some of my Trollbeads bangles. (I could wiggle it onto my medium-sized Twisted Silver Bangle and medium-sized plain Sterling Silver Bangle, but it won’t fit onto my medium-sized Star Bangle or my small-sized plain Sterling Silver Bangle). The Crab Glass Bead looks beautiful on chain bracelets, though - either by itself or with other charms. To me, it will always be a focal bead because I just adore it so much!

I love all four of the
Moress Charms that I purchased (although the Crab Glass Bead is clearly my favourite!). They all fit in nicely with my existing charm bead collection, and I have really enjoyed playing with my new charms all week! Although I had previously bought an
X Jewellery lock from the Moress Charms website in the recent past, this was my first purchase of Moress Charms - and I am very happy with them!
